RESPITE
Respite is a service that is funded by the Arizona
Department of Economic Security's Division of
Developmental Disabilities (DDD).
It is designed to give the primary caregiver, parent, or
guardian of someone with a disability some time off.
Respite can be used to take the client into the
community for some fun or to let the parent have some
time of their own to go do the things that they may not
usually have time for. Respite hours can be used daily
or just once in a while and any unused hours each month
roll over to the next month. Respite can be used for a
max of 13 hours per day.

Respite
Respite is more than being able to
take a break once in a while and we
recognize that. We are aware that
respite is used to enable parents to
work, attend school, and care for
other family members. We strive to
have our providers be prompt in
delivering this service and providing
a safe and fun day for our
consumers. If the usual provider is
unable to provider the service and it
is needed, please let us know and
one of our administration will deliver
the service if available.
